The Louis Vuitton Fall-Winter 2020 fashion show took place on March 3, 2020, in Paris, France. The show consisted of just the women’s ready-to-wear clothing. Louis Vuttion youtube live-streamed the fashion show so anyone could see the fashion show in real-time! The fashion show had a backdrop of 200 choral singers, in historical clothing that looked like it was from the 15th century. This collection seemed to be a very tomboy mixed with girly-girl chic. There were leathers fixed with ruffs and sheers.
The first look I chose is to display a common theme in many of the looks. A lot of the looks in the collection had this baby doll sheer dress with leather ruffles at the bottom. This look is not an everyday look and is for one who is bold and wants to make a statement. The cut of the dress is girly and frilly, but adding the leather to the bottom of the dress gives it more of a bold look along with layering it with an asymmetrical top underneath. The design and coloring of the top look more masculine.
The next look I chose is more of an everyday look. I would, for sure, sport this look. Like the last look and many others in the collection, it is a layered piece. The dress is a sequin tiger print dress with a leather bra top layered above it. I like this look because it is definitely in the moment, I have an outfit already that looks a lot like this. The detailing is very percise and elegant.
